Visiting Scholar in European Studies

Columbus State University is seeking a distinguished visiting scholarto serve as the Mildred Miller Fort Foundation Visiting Scholar inEuropean Studies. The scholar will demonstrate expertise in theirfield. Possible fields in European studies include anthropology, art,cultural studies, economics, environmental science, history,international relations, literature, music, philosophy, politics, andtheater. The scholar will hold a one-semester appointment duringJanuary-May 2003. The visiting scholar will teach two advancedcourses and be involved in campus and community activities conductedin the English language. The visiting scholar will have use of atwo-bedroom apartment near campus, and will receive remunerationcorresponding to a full professorship and commensurate withexperience.
