The School of Language Studies of the Australian National University is looking to fill 1.5 positions at ANU Academic levels A and B. Applicants should demonstrate a strong research record and successful teaching (at all levels) in one or more of the following areas; should have a completed or near completed PhD; and for the German and French positions, native or near-native competency in the relevant language.
• German literature/film/history/socio-cultural studies
• German language teaching
• French and Francophone studies
• French language teaching
• Translation studies
• Semantics
• Cross-cultural/inter-cultural communication
• Language pedagogy (especially on-line)
• Second language acquisition.
