Lectureship

The School seeks to appoint, from 1 January 2001 or as soon as
possible thereafter, to the first of two lectureships to deliver the
interpreting element (theory and practice) in a new degree programme,
the BA in Modern Languages with Interpreting. A specialist in French
and/or Spanish is sought for this post. Preference will be given to
candidates with teaching and research expertise in interpreting,
although full consideration will also be given to candidates
specialising in other areas and with a demonstrable capacity to
acquire, with the support of the School, the necessary expertise.

Salary: £18,731 - £30,967 pa according to qualifications and experience
