Salary Grade 8 - £36,298 to £44,607 per annum

The post holder will be responsible to the Head of the School of Modern Languages and will undertake teaching, administration and other activities supporting the work of the School.

You will undertake undergraduate teaching in French language and in relevant fields of French culture, literature, history, politics, sociology, linguistics as appropriate. This may include the supervision of undergraduate dissertations.

You will be responsible for the coordination of language programmes in French and coordinate the work of Teaching Fellows across all languages in the School. You will undertake such specific School roles and management functions as may be reasonably required by the Head of School or the Director of Studies in French.

You will have a completed PhD or equivalent in a relevant field of French language and/or culture and a proven record of teaching and managing language programmes. You are fluent in written and spoken French and English.
