We are looking for : CONTRIBUTIONS FOR A COMMON FINAL DECLARATION OF THE COUNTER SUMMIT
Dear participants of the counter summit,
between march 12th and 14th, 2010, we want to exchange views on education, the bologna process and protest movements at universities. A part of our claim for this gathering will also be to develop analyses and strategies for the future and to establish permanent relations between the activists, who fight against the current education policy and its consequences and for solidarian alternatives in many cities.
In this sense, it should be discussed about a possible common final declaration during the counter summit. The declaration should include a statement regarding the (europe-wide) education policy and especially formulate common perspectives for university protest movements to the bologna process. It could serve as the base for networking and further political activity at the universities concerned.
We are happy to receive (not too long but concise) text contributions ? if already available ? from participating persons or organisations, which could be used for such a final declaration or some of its paragraphs. A work group for the organisation of the counter summit will thus be able to desgin a first draft of the declaration in advance, which will reflect the heterogenity of political positions and then serve as a base for discussion during the counter summit.
For those being interested in preparing this draft and already being in vienna: the Deklarations-Gruppe (declaration group) will meet on monday, february 22nd, 13:00 in the aula of the university campus (Spitalgasse 2, Hof 1) for a content-centred discussion. If text contributions reach us by that day, they will already be included into the discussion.

Liebe Gegengipfel-TeilnehmerInnen!
In den Tagen zwischen dem 12. und dem 14. März wollen wir uns über Bildung, den Bologna-Prozess und Protestbewegungen an den Unis austauschen. Ein Teil unseres Anspruchs an diese Zusammenkunft ist aber auch, gemeinsame Analysen und Strategien für die Zukunft zu entwickeln und dauerhaftige Beziehungen zwischen AktivistInnen zu etablieren, die in unterschiedlichen Städten gegen die aktuelle Bildungspolitik, ihre Auswirkungen und für solidarische Alternativen kämpfen.
In diesem Sinne soll während des Gegengipfels über eine mögliche gemeinsame Abschlusserklärung ("Deklaration") diskutiert werden, die ausgehend von einer Stellungnahme zur (europaweiten) Bildungspolitik und insbesondere zum Bologna-Prozess gemeinsame Perpektiven für die Uniprotestbewegungen formuliert und somit als Grundlage für deren Vernetzung und der weiteren politischen Aktivität an den Unis dient.
Wir freuen uns auf (nicht allzu lange, prägnante) Textbeiträge - falls vorhanden - seitens teilnehmender Personen und Organisationen, die einer solchen Erklärung dienen könnten, bzw. für einzelne Punkte davon relevant sein könnten.
Eine Arbeitsgruppe der Gegengipfelvorbereitung kann auf diese Weise im Vorfeld einen Deklarationsentwurf gestalten, der der Heterogenität der politischen
Positionen Rechnung trägt und als Diskussionsgrundlage während des Gegengipfels dient.
Für diejenigen, die an der Vorbereitung dieses Entwurfes interessiert sind und sich in Wien aufhalten: Die "Deklarationsgruppe" trifft sich am Montag, dem 22. Februar (13 Uhr bis open end) in der Aula/Campus zur inhaltlichen Diskussion. Falls Textbeiträge bereits im Vorhinein bei uns eintreffen, können diese bereits bei diesem Treffen in die Diskussion eingebunden werden.
