Baylor seeks to fill the following tenure-track position within the College of Arts and Sciences:

Assistant Professor of French

Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in a related field.  You will be asked to provide a letter of interest; curriculum vitae; official transcripts showing highest degree conferred (if ABD, also submit official transcript of completed Ph.D. hours), and three confidential letters of recommendation in the application process.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a research and teaching agenda appropriate for an R-1 institution and will be encouraged to seek external funding (which could include fellowships, grants, and other forms).  Ability to teach Italian—in addition to French—preferred but not required.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
