Assistant Professor in French (Literature and Cultural Studies)

The Department of French Studies, University of Waterloo, invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2001. The required qualifications are: Ph.D. in French with a specialization in the area of contemporary French literature and French Cultural Studies. Special consideration will be given to candidates with knowledge of information technology and its application. The Department seeks an active researcher with excellent teaching credentials. Duties include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, and supervising graduate students.
