Adventures in Subversion: Postmodern Theory and Practice Papers for this panel will consider whether textual, cultural, or literary criticism has created a meta-narrative of "subversion" at the expense of other forms of knowledge production. If texts are always "subverting" ideologies, patriarchy, metaphysics, how is it that our culture is not more radicalized? Or is this even the point?
Papers from all theoretical/critical perspectives are welcome.
