The Department of Global Humanities at Norwich University invites applications for a position of adjunct in French for the spring semester of 2024 (January 8, 2024- April 25, 2024). This is an in-person position on the Norwich University campus, in Northfield, Vermont.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching a total of 15 credits, which may include courses ranging from all levels, as well as a special topics courses. Adjunct faculty members work on a part-time, course-by-course basis, with assignments dependent on pending student enrollment.
The position's renewal will be contingent on successful review and performance.
Requirements :
Minimum of a master's degree in French or a related field. ABD candidates accepted.
Native or near-native fluency in French.
Preferable experience teaching French courses at the college level.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
Proficiency in current methodologies and culture-based instruction, including integrating technology in the classroom.
