Trans Identities in the French Media: Representation, Visibility, Recognition constitue le premier ouvrage académique en langue anglaise qui se propose d'explorer les représentations des transidentités dans la société française contemporaine à travers une série d'essais dans des domaines aussi divers que la littérature, les études féminines et de genre, les études cinématographiques, les études en bande dessinée, ou bien encore les études en traduction. En s'intéressant aux multiples sens que peut revêtir le terme de "représentation", cette collection offre de réfléchir de manière critique sur les modalités qui président à la visibilité ainsi qu'à la reconnaissance des transidentités aujourd'hui en France.
