Call for Papers
Seventh Issue, Fall 2015
estrema: interdisciplinary magazine of humanities is an on-line publication of the Center for Comparative Studies (CEC) of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (FLUL). Its main goal is to publish the papers of both undergraduate and graduate students. Giving its interdisciplinary character, estrema accepts works from several areas of studies such as (but not limited to):
- Linguistics
- Literature
- Music
- Cinema
- Theology
- Philosophy
- History
- Visual arts
All papers will be subjected to a blind peer review process.
Deadline for submissions: September 30, 2015.
Theme: non-thematic.
Editing: texts must be in Times New Roman font size 12, 2 line spacing. Styles and automatic editing such as numeration and marks should not be used.
Bibliographical references/quotation: all quotes and bibliographical references included in the text must follow the Chicago Manual of Style: Author-Date (16th Edition) reference system.
Articles/Papers will not be considered unless they have between 4000 and 10000 words, including footnotes and bibliography. Moreover, they must be accompanied by the author’s full name, individual e-mail address and a brief bionote.
Working languages: Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, English and German.
Notification on the acceptance of the papers: November 2015.
