It is with great pleasure that we announce the publication of the 3/2009 issue of "Scritture Migranti: Rivista di Scambi Interculturali".
Thisjournal aims to analyze relationships between literature and migration from allover the world, with special attentionto how such themes as displacement, exile, diaspora, travel, hybridity andother transcultural forms of mobility. From a cross-cultural perspective thatmixes comparative literature, postcolonial studies, cultural studies, in itscritical sections the journal deals with a wide range of genres and forms:narrative, poetry, drama, cinema, music and art. Along with unpublished criticalessays, every issue has pieces of creative writing, a detailed comment on a“classic” critical essay by migrant writers or critics, and bibliographicalpresentations of migrant literature in relation to particular issue orgeographical contexts. The audience is composed by scholars, writers and peopleinterested in one or many of the various issues relating literature andmigration today all around the world. "Scritture migranti" accepts proposals and contributions in the major languages of international exchange (see the new CFP n.4/2010 in our website http://www.scritturemigranti.it).
