Le Département de français de l’Université de Victoria (Canada) offre un poste à temps plein menant à la permanence, au niveau de professeur adjoint, à compter du 1er juillet 2016.
Domaines de spécialisation : Ancien Régime, avec accent sur les discours littéraire et philosophique. Seront aussi considérés vos intérêts pour la transmédialité des œuvres littéraires, le théâtre et les littératures minoritaires francophones hors-Québec. Une spécialisation en humanités numériques constituera un atout certain.
Responsabilités : enseignement à tous les niveaux sur la langue, la littérature et la culture en langue française, et dans le domaine de spécialisation ; supervision d’étudiants de maîtrise ; participation au bon fonctionnement du département (programmes et contenus d’enseignement, recherche, comités).
Qualifications : Doctorat dans le domaine exigé. Excellence dans l’enseignement : dossier pédagogique avec évaluations et synthèse pédagogique. Excellence dans la recherche : publications et perspectives de financement. Projets collaboratifs souhaités en matière d’enseignement ou de recherche. Connaissance et utilisation des technologies de l’information en matière d’enseignement et de recherche.

Tenure-Track Position
The Department of French, University of Victoria, invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level, beginning July 1, 2016.
Specialisation: Pre-1800 Literatures and Cultures, with a focus on literary and philosophical discourses. We will also consider your interest in transmediation of literary works, drama and minority literatures of French Canada outside Québec. A specialisation in digital humanities will be an asset.
Responsibilities: Teaching language, literatures and cultures in French language, and in your research area, at the undergraduate and graduate levels; supervision of master’s students; participation in the functions of the Department (programs and course content, research, committees).
Qualifications: PhD in the field. Excellence in teaching: teaching dossier complete with evaluations and pedagogical synthesis. Excellence in research: publications and grants possibilities. Collaborative projects in teaching or research will be an asset. Knowledge and use of Information Technologies for teaching and research required.
