The SFPS Postgraduate Research Workshop will take place this year on Friday 9 November at the Institut Français in London. The theme of the workshop is 'Postcolonial Slavery'.
We would be grateful if you would publicise this event in your department and encourage postgraduate students to attend. The programme, poster and registration form are all available on the SFPS website.
As you will see from the programme, the AGM will be held in the afternoon and we would encourage all members of SFPS to attend this meeting. The Dorothy Blair Memorial Lecture, at 4.30pm, will be given this year by Dominic Thomas, UCLA.
Attendance at the Memorial Lecture is free to all members.
