The Editorial Board of Nineteenth-Century French Studies is pleased to announce the publication of volume 45 numbers 1–2 (Fall–Winter 2016–17). This issue continues the journal’s longstanding tradition of covering the full range of studies of nineteenth-century French literature and related fields, with articles and reviews on topics such as class warfare, claustrophobia, loss, utopia, travel narratives, courtesans, myths, censorship, and impersonality: from de Maistre to Mallarmé, from Hermaphrodite to Heidegger. A full table of contents is below and also online at www.ncfs-journal.org.

 

All of the journal’s book reviews from volume 43 and all of the journal’s online reviews dating back to 2007 are accessible online and without subscription. In addition, on its web pages NCFS offers complete archives of its publications since it began in 1972: Table of Contents from every issue, abstracts of all articles, and all of the book reviews published online. Finally, the web site also provides complete information about subscriptions, article submissions, book reviews, the journal’s Editorial and Advisory Boards, and the journal’s history.
