The topic is "Life Phases: Age and Representation in Early Modern French Lit." Ages and phases of life (and thus death) in any text, genre, etc. Visual (painting etc.) considerations also welcome. Representations of age, age as representation. Any genre(s) or author(s) welcome. Topic need not be narrowly defined.
