Le sang / blood
Ce numéro spécial sera consacré au rôle et à la thématique du sang dans des textes (littéraires et/ou cinématographiques) francophones, qu’il s’agisse d’une représentation ‘littérale’, symbolique, métaphorique ou autre. Les auteurs/es intéressés/ées sont invités/ées à utiliser les approches théoriques de leur choix. Les articles pourront considérer des oeuvres aux titres ‘sanguinaires’ (Mauvais sang, Le Sang d’un poète, etc) ou bien différents aspects du sang, par exemple :
This special issue will be devoted to the role and thematic of blood in French-speaking texts (literary and/or cinematographic), whether this representation be ‘literal’, symbolic, metaphorical or other. Authors are invited to use the theoretical approaches of their choice. Articles may deal with works bearing ‘bloody’ titles, or with a number of aspects of the theme, for example:
l'hérédité heredity
la famille families
la guerre war
la violence violence
la noblesse nobility
le corps the body
la maladie illness, disease
le vampirisme vampires
le sacrifice sacrifice
le sacré et le religieux the sacred/religious
le tabou et l’interdit taboo and interdiction
Le numéro est prévu pour novembre 2013 : les articles, en anglais ou en français et ne dépassant pas 5,500 mots (notes incluses), suivront les consignes de la MHRA (guide de style disponible en ligne). Ils devront nous parvenir avant le 15 juin 2013 aux adresses courriel suivantes :
The special issue will appear in November 2013: full articles, in English or French and no longer than 5,500 words (including notes), must follow the MHRA style guidelines (available online). They must reach the editors at the email addresses below no later than June 15 2013.
