The School of Arts, Languages and Cultures at the University of Manchester is pleased to invite applications for 2 PhD Studentships in French Studies (in the areas of Second Language Acquisition and Literary/Cultural Studies), available for September 2016.
These opportunities are available as self-standing (+3) studentships. Additionally, applicants to the MA programmes in Linguistics and Translation Studies who choose to work on a subject related to French (and that can be supervised from within French Studies) can also apply for these studentships as part of 1+3 packages.
The relevant application deadlines are as follows:
· 22 January 2016: Submission of application to MA/PhD programmes
· 12 February 2016: Submission of funding application forms
