Abstracts for papers to be presented at the 2016 Conference are now being considered. SCFLLF welcomes papers on all aspects of literature, linguistics, civilization, culture, film and pedagogy pertaining to foreign languages (ancient and modern). Please send abstracts (including titles) of ca. 300 words in electronic form to the address below.

The Keynote presentation by Dr. Mireille Rosello from the University of Amsterdam will address ethnic stereotypes in multicultural comedies.  We would like to encourage (but not limit to) a working theme for submissions: How to address, decipher, use, deconstruct/construct stereotypes in foreign language pedagogy, linguistics, literature and film.

If you wish to organize a session please send the name of the proposed session, the name and contact information of the participants, and the abstracts of the papers.

The deadline for submission of abstracts for individual papers and sessions is December 1st, 2015. Each presenter will be allotted 20 minutes in order to insure ample time for discussion.

Selected papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference
