Temporary Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in French Studies
(1 year fixed term)

The School of Languages and Area Studies, University of Portsmouth, seeks to appoint a temporary lecturer/senior lecturer in French area
studies.  The post is available as a replacement for Professor Martin Evans who will be undertaking a British Academy Senior Research
Fellowship. 

The successful candidate will possess a good knowledge of French contemporary history, society and politics and be able to teach
a prescribed range of units in the area.  An ability to contribute to the teaching of level 1 European History will be an advantage.  Potential
