First International Arthurian Conference for Post-graduate Students
University of Freiburg i. Br., Germany

    
The First International Arthurian Conference For Post-graduate Students at the University of Freiburg i. Br. is intended as a two-day interdisciplinary conference for international post-graduate students working with topics relating to Arthurian Studies. The conference will be held at the University of Freiburg i. Br., Germany, March 29th-30th 2007.
Participants working with Arthurian topics in other disciplines are also invited to submit their papers. The two days of the conference will be organized thematically in order to include papers on various regions and periods, as well as to encourage an interdisciplinary approach.
The keynote speaker of the conference is Dr. Nicholas Higham, Professor of Early Medieval and Landscape History, School of Arts, Histories and Cultures from the University of Manchester, U.K., who is going to present a paper on the Historia Brittonum and the Annales Cambriae.

Submissions will be accepted for papers of 20 minutes duration that address the planned theme. Proposals (100 words minimum) should reach the organisers by January 30th 2007 and should be submitted in both hard copy and electronic form. The language of the conference is English.
