Call for Papers: "Literature and the Ideas of Space"
 
Partial Answers, a biannual journal of literature and the history of ideas, calls for contributions to its second issue, which will explore :
a.. methods of questioning the traditional distinction between time-arts and space-arts;
b.. spatial aspects of the literary discourse;
c.. types and functions of narrative exploration of space.
 
Partial Answers encourages contributors to be explicit regarding their own partialities and their philosophical agenda. Please consult editorial policy on

The editorial board will consider articles of 3,000 to 10,000 words, as well as brief informative notes, written in accordance with The Chicago Manual of Style and a consistent system of reference. Two printed copies of each article and an abstract must be submitted for preliminary evaluation and refereeing; an electronic copy will be requested at a later stage. Articles not accompanied by International Reply Coupons will not be returned.
 
The deadline for submissions to the special issue is September 30, 2002. Articles that arrive after this date will be considered for publication in later issues.
