French Postgraduate Series IMLR/CMEL, University of Kent.

We are delighted to inform you that the Centre for Modern European Literature at the University of Kent will host the Institute of Modern Languages Research French Postgraduate Seminar Series next term.

We are currently trying to put together the programme for the sessions. Each sessions require two speakers, who can be from any subject related to the study of French language and culture, though we would like to have one session related to literature under constraint (see: https://modernlanguages.sas.ac.uk/research-fellowships/ahrc-literature-under-constraint-network). Each presentation should last about 20 minutes, with lots of time for questions afterwards.

The seminar series is a friendly and informal space for postgraduates to present work-in-progress and get constructive feedback from peers.

The dates for the spring term are as follows (all 5-6:30pm at the University of Kent):

29 Jan 2018

12 Feb 2018

26 Feb 2018

12 Mar 2018

26 Mar 2018

03 Apr 2018

Please contact Clémence Ardin ( C.Y.P.Ardin@kent.ac.uk) and Dominique Carlini Versini (dc456@kent.ac.uk) if you are interested in speaking in a session.  Please include a working title and brief outline of the subject of your presentation, as well as an institutional affiliation. Please also state whether any dates are preferable (we will try to be accommodating but cannot guarantee first choice for everyone).

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
