will hold the international research and practice Conference

“FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN THE DIALOGUE OF CULTURES: POLITICS, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION”

The conference has an interdisciplinary character and is aimed at discussing a current problem – using the potential of foreign languages as a social progress factor.

There will be the following breakup groups, round tables and masterclasses at the conference:

Plenary session “Foreign languages as a social progress factor”.

Breakup group 1. The dialogue of cultures: strategies for mutual understanding.

Breakup group 2. Text and discourse in an intercultural space.

Breakup group 3. Foreign languages in social and political sphere.

Breakup group 4. Foreign languages in economics and business.

Breakup group 5. Foreign languages in education and science.

Breakup group 6. Teaching foreign languages in the context of the dialogue of cultures.

Round table: “Regions of Russia in modern world: Mordovia as a party to international activities” with the assistance of entrepreneurs, politicians and university professors.

Masterclass: “Innovation education technologies in teaching foreign languages” (applications for participating and holding are admitted)

Working languages of the conference – Russian, English, German, French.

Applications for participation are admitted as attached file formatted as *.doc or *.rtf with a note “Conference” in the subject of the letter until the 15th of April to conference-fld@mail.ru

The manuscripts are presented to the organizing committee of the conference with the annotation in English at the article heading in electronic variant with a note “Conference” in the subject of the letter until the 15^th of May to conference-fld@mail.ru.

Organizational fee is 500 roubles (in case of full-time participation) and 100 roubles for a page of an article (in case of participation by correspondence).

Please follow these requirements for formatting your manuscripts:

- word processor MS Word (Times New Roman Cyr);
- line-spacing metric 1, кегель 14;
- margins – 20 mm. aligned, lines without hyphenning;
- indent – 1. 25 sm;
- article size – up to 3 pages;
- page format - А4;
- pictures are installed into the text;
- the name of the report is written flush centre with capital letters;
- initials and a surname of the author as well as their city and the educational establishment are given through single spacing flush right;
- the main text of the article is printed through single spacing. References in the text are written in square brackets, pages are given through a colon. For example, [Ivanov 2007: 313], a list of bibliography is located after the main text in an alphabetic order. The text of the article is published as a manuscript edited by the author.
