Crossways in European Humanities'
This MASTERS programme
- is international in its recruitment base, as well as open to UK and other EU graduates
- offers 28 scholarships per year of £12,000 to non-EU nationals
- is addressed to the top 5% of students graduating with a first degree in European languages and literatures
- involves mobility within Europe and study at two or three European Universities : St Andrews (Scotland), Perpignan (France), Bergamo(Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Sheffield (England)
- provides Erasmus mobility funding for suitably qualified EU nationals
- allows students to compose an integrated personal study programme out of tried and tested elements of existing programmes, now made available in combination by these Universities
- delivers to its successful graduates a joint or multiple European Masters Degree
- is available in a two-year (four semester) European Masters format, or else, for suitably qualified applicants, in a 1-year variant, with direct entry into Year 2 (semesters three and four)
- opens the way to public funding for intending PhD students interested in the literature and theory of some aspect of the crucial field of Cultural Identity Studies
- will qualify students for leadership roles in a variety of Europe-oriented occupations
