Dangerous Representations is a cross-disciplinary conference examining identity, anxiety, cultural production and power. Papers are requested from all disciplines and periods. Panels will include, but not be limited to:
- Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century Representations of Race and Sexuality
- Early Modern Criminality
- Representations of War
- Popular Culture, Fear and Racial Identity
- Criminality, Subculture and Sexuality
- Creative Responses to National Trauma
- Sex, Race, Audience and Power
