Heretical Challenges and Orthodoxy (Part 2):
A Special Issue on the Occasion of the 80th Birthday of François Laruelle

Labyrinth is summing up its two 2017 issues under the headings "Heretical Challenges and Orthodoxy." The Winter Issue is dedicated to François Laruelle on the occasion of his 80th birtday.  Of interest are original elaborations or critical discussions dealing with the main topics of non-philosophy. Such topics could be:

• Decision and Heresy
• Identity, (non)Difference, Event
• Against Interpretation and "General Hermeneutics": The Secret, the Un-interpretable/Un-translatable, and the Vision-inOne
• Alienation, Gnosis, and Given-without-Giveness
• Philosophy, Science, and Philo-Fiction
• Rebellion and Performativity
• Generic Ethics: Man-in-Person, Being-Stranger, and the Victim-in-Person
• Non-politics and Democracy-of-Strangers
• Non-Standard Aesthetics: Theoretical Installations and Utopia
• Future Christ, Ordinary Mysticims, and Principia Amoris
• Contemporary philosophies and their non-philosophical counterparts (non-Marx, non-Nietzsche, non-Husserl, non-Heidegger, non-Deuleuze, non-Derrida, non-Badiou etc.)
• Actual receptions of Non-Philosophy in the philosophical, religious or scientific discourses

Philosophers and researchers working on Laruelle are kindly invited to submit a brief abstract or – at least – a paper title until 30th of September 2017. Authors who have already a finished unpublished paper are welcome to submit it within the abstract in order to help the publishing process. Papers in their final form should be submitted no later than 10th of December.

Also welcome are book reviews, interviews, and event reports.

As a multilingual Journal Labyrinth accepts papers in English, French, and German. For more information about the journal policies and the submission's guidelines please visit the journal's homepage: http://www.axiapublishers.com/ojs/index.php/labyrinth/about
