The Editorial Board of Caribbean Studies, a journal published twice a year by the Institute of Caribbean Studies, College of Social Sciences, University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, is inviting manuscripts for  its forthcoming issues.

Caribbean Studies will consider for publication articles and reviews submitted in Spanish, English or French. Contributions should be submitted in diskettes (Word 2000 or an earlier version) and should not exceed (40)  pages of text. In addition, three double-spaced copies should be sent. Style should conform the American Sociological Association  (ASA), with  references in the last pages. Authors should include an abstract of no  more than 200 words. No article will be considered if it is currently  under consideration by another journal or is soon to be published elsewhere.
