ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/SNR LECTURER IN FRENCH STUDIES
Applications are invited for the above position to assume duties on 01 September 2001.
QUALIFICATIONS : PhD in French Literature *native competence in French *proficiency in English *established research record *knowledge of French African Literature a recommendation *knowledge of IT applications for Language Teaching would be an advantage.
DUTIES : language & literature teaching at all levels *supervision of theses at all levels including doctorate *teaching (in English) of European studies courses *curriculum development and a variety of administrative tasks.
SALARY : depending on qualifications, experience and level of appointment.
