WashU is now accepting applicants for the Ph.D in French and Francophone Studies as well as the joint Ph.D in Comparative Literature and French and Francophone Studies. All students are fully funded for their five-year degree: in addition to a generous stipend, they are eligible for added research and conference travel funding, summer opportunities, professional internships, and more. Students can combine their studies in French with a graduate certificate such as Translation Studies, Film and Media Studies, Global Black Studies, or Data Science in the Humanities, crafting their own individualized curriculum.
Interested students can learn more by visiting our program website at https://rll.washu.edu/french-and-francophone-studies-graduate-programs or signing up to attend one of our upcoming virtual sessions. Attend a session and your application fee will be waived!
