Visiting Scholar in European Studies
Columbus State University is seeking a distinguished visiting scholar to serve as the Mildred Miller Fort Foundation Visiting Scholar in European Studies. The scholar will demonstrate expertise in their field. Possible fields in European studies include anthropology, art, cultural studies, economics, environmental science, history, international relations, literature, music, philosophy, politics, and theater. The scholar will hold a one-semester appointment during January-May 2003. The visiting scholar will teach two advanced courses and be involved in campus and community activities conducted in the English language. The visiting scholar will have use of a two-bedroom apartment near campus, and will receive remuneration corresponding to a full professorship and commensurate with experience.
