The 44 papers proposed for the conference by members and friends of AFLS range over a number of varieties of French, from Canada to La Réunion, verlan to vocabulary, learner varieties to technolects.

Thematic strands group together papers on FLE, diachrony, regional, stylistic and social varieties, syntax and film.
