in French &Francophone Literature & Film
The French LiteratureConference at the University of South Carolina invites papers treating of therelationship between literature and the physical environment.
Possible approaches and/ortopics might include:
Environmental Studies - Ecology &Ecocriticism - Waste Studies - Nature Studies - Demographics - Migration - Consumerism - Industrial & Post-Industrial Societies
Two anonymous copies ofcomplete papers, in English or in French, must be submitted (hard copy, fax ore-mail attachment) to the conference organizer by November 15, 2010.Submissions should be held to a twenty-minute presentation time (no more than10 double-spaced pages). Participants are encouraged to expand theirpresentations to no more than 18 typed double-spaced pages for publication.Proceedings will be published as volume XXXIX of French Literature Series(Rodopi).
