Rhetorical Approaches to Literature Division
This standing session invites papers that explore rhetorical approaches to literature on multiple levels. Possible questions for papers to address include, but are not limited to, the following: What constitutes a rhetorical approach to literature? How do we perform such an approach? What is the pedagogical value of a rhetorical approach to literature? How can such approaches be used effectively in the classroom to teach literature and/or writing? What is the disciplinary role of such rhetorical approaches within the discourse of literary criticism?
Send a 500-word proposal, a 50-word abstract, and a short (1 page) c/v (along with any a/v requests) by April 1, 2001. Email submissions acceptable.
