Supported by an award from the Modern Humanities Research Association, a Research Associate is sought to work with Professor Brian Stimpson on the digitization of the private library of Paul Valéry. The work will be primarily based at Newcastle with the possibility of some time in Paris working on the collections. The award, valued at £9000, will be equivalent to a 0.5 appointment for 10 months during the academic year 2001-2, with the possibility of some additional part-time teaching.
