

French Studies, Tenure-line position
Tenure-line position to begin September 2004. Position to be filled at assistant professor level, or at associate or full professor level for candidates with very distinguished records of publication and teaching. Specialization in 19th century French literature and culture. Native or near-native fluency in French is required. Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent in French. Applicants will be expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching and to engage in independent research.
