The Department of French, Spanish and Italian in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Manitoba invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Francophonie. Position Number 07700.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications: a strong record of teaching undergraduate French language courses, the ability to communicate in English, and a productive research program. The responsibilities will include the teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses, graduate supervision, and service-related activities. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. by the commencement of the appointment on July 1, 2009.
