We are looking for a scholar with an international or near-international reputation in their specialist area, who will contribute to research, supervision and undergraduate teaching in areas compatible with the departments strategic move towards a focus on modern and contemporary culture and society. Applications are invited from leading scholars in any of the fields of current research interest in the French section. Your strength will be in research,you will have native or near-native fluency in the language; an interest in Film and Media Studies (flagged as 5* in the last RAE) could be particularly welcome.
The post is available from 1 April 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter.
