The Editorial Board of Nineteenth-Century French Studies is happy to announce the publication of volume 42 numbers 3 & 4 (spring–summer 2014). From Baudelaire in China to Mérimée in Corsica, from gender and modern killers to jury acquittals in Maupassant, and from the Bible in Zola to Satan in the fin-de-siècle, this issue continues the journal’s longstanding tradition of covering the full breadth of studies of nineteenth-century French literature and related fields.
