Narrative Theory and the Teaching of Narrative

Publié le par René Audet (Source : Liste Narrative)

I'm chairing a narrative session at the upcoming RMMLA meeting, scheduled in Vancouver, B.C. for October 11-13. Here's the cfp. Presenters must be members of the RMMLA.

Narrative Session: Narrative Theory and the Teaching of Narrative

This session will focus on intersections of theory and praxis. Of interest are papers on courses in narrative that are structured by and that attempt to present elements of contemporary narrative theory--including papers that critique the "theoretical turn" in many literature programs. All theoretical approaches are of interest. Please send COMPLETED PAPERS if possible by the deadline; preliminary inquiries are welcome. E-mail communication is preferred; hard copy is ok too. Paper proposals based on a 300-word abstract and a 50-word description are due to the session chair no later than March 1, 2001. You will be notified of the chair's decision by March 15.
