We wish to appoint, with MHRA funding, a Research Assistant who will help us add material previously not included to GidianArchives, our on-line database of articles from Gide´s personal archive of press cuttings:
http://www.gidiana.net/GA.htm.

The successful candidate will have a degree and experience of postgraduate research in a relevant area. The post is available from September 2006 for 1 year at .55. In addition to work
carried out on the GidianArchives project, the opportunity to do some remunerated teaching in the department will also be available.
