Nous acceptons les propositions de communication sur le théâtre d’Ariane Mnouchkine afin de compléter un panel pour la 10^e Conférence Internationale Women in French, « Voix et voies des marges » (Iowa State University 14-16 mai 2020).

Ce panel se propose d’explorer les manières dont le théâtre de Mnouchkine joue sur et avec la marge, qu’il s’agisse de la localisation de son théâtre à la marge de Paris, du dîner traditionnel servi au public, de la création collective de chaque performance, ou de son intérêt pour les migrations. Les sujets abordés peuvent inclure le choix des thèmes, le jeu et les comédien·nes, la genèse des pièces, les films, la musique, la scénographie, les costumes et les masques, etc.

Accepting abstracts for papers to complete a panel on Ariane Mnouchkine’s theater for the 10th International Women in French Conference, “Margins: Voices and Pathways” (Iowa State University, 14-16 May 2020). https://www.register.extension.iastate.edu/wf2020

This panel proposes to explore the many ways in which Mnouchkine’s theater is unconventional: from the actual theater’s location on the margins of Paris, to the ritualistic diner provided to her audience, the collective creation of her performances, or her interest for migrations. Topics may include the theater’s choice of themes, the acting and actors, the genesis of the plays, the films, the music, scenography, costumes and masks, etc.
