

Lecturer in French [Assistant Professor]
The University of Auckland invites applications from native or near-native speakers of French for a tenure track Lectureship in the French Department within the School of European Languages and Literatures, to commence 1 February 2002. The successful candidate will have doctoral qualifications in one of the areas taught by the Department. Applicants from all fields of French studies are invited to apply but preference may be given to candidates with specialisation in language teaching and/or linguistics. He/she will have particular strengths in the teaching of the French language, in order to participate fully in the language acquisition programme of the Department. A proven research record is an advantage.
