Lecturer (French), Full-Time position

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Swarthmore College invites applications for a full-time lecturer position (instructional staff) in French language, beginning Fall 2013. Applicants should have native or near native competence in both French and English, plus a relevant degree in the area of language teaching. Extended experience demonstrating excellence in language teaching is essential. In addition, knowledge of latest language teaching technology is crucial.
The position requires a relevant MA or French equivalent in the field of FLE. Responsibilities include coordinating the French language courses, assisting faculty members in teaching introductory and intermediate French language, designing conversation courses, organizing extra-curricular events, and mentoring students. We are looking for a dynamic and an innovative individual with previous teaching experience at liberal arts colleges.
