The Department of Modern Languages & Classics at The University of Alabama  is advertising a renewable, full-time position for an instructor of  French. This is a non-tenure earning position with the possibility of renewal based on funding, availability, and performance. We prefer  candidates with experience and interest in curriculum design, development  of new instructional materials using digital media and technology for language teaching, a demonstrated ability to use technology in the classroom, and a background in FL methodology/applied linguistics. MA and native or near-native fluency in French and English required. Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, French or a related field preferred.
