

Fixed-term Lectureship in C19th &/or C20th French literature
COLLEGE STIPENDIARY LECTURERSHIP IN FRENCH TOGETHER WITH A LECTURERSHIP IN THE FACULTY OF MEDIEVAL AND MODERN LANGUAGES
NEW COLLEGE, OXFORD
New College invites applications for a full-time twelve-hour Stipendiary Lecturership in French for three years from 1 October 2001 to replace Dr Ann Jefferson during her tenure of a Leverhulme Research Fellowship. The post will involve max. 12 hours per week language and tutorial teaching for New College in 19th and 20th Century Literature, and 16 lectures per year for the Faculty in one or more of the following areas: 19th Century Literature, 20th Century Literature, Literary Theory or Film Studies.
The appointment will be on point five (£19,482) of the University Junior Lecturer scale, together with a research allowance of £300, a book allowance of £430 and an entertainment allowance of £130. The Lecturer will be a member of the Senior Common Room, entitled to full rights of commons during term and vacation.
