You may be interested in the message below introducing the British Library's new online catalogue which has gone live today. BLPC is the successor to OPAC97.
The homepage (http://blpc.bl.uk) presents the user with a number of labelled blue boxes which are activated by clicking on them.
The Order Document box takes the user to a template page, allowing orders to be created for transmission to the Document Supply Centre (BLDSC). It does NOT allow advance reservations to be made for material to be read in
the LONDON Reading Rooms.

Also a reminder about two other specialised BL catalogues now available on the web:

1.The Newspaper Library Catalogue has been available on the web since 15
December 2000 at http://www.bl.uk/collections/newspaper/newscat.html The
catalogue includes selected newspapers in Western European languages
including French. Further information about the services and collections at the Newspaper Library can be found at:
http://www.bl.uk/collections/newspaper

2. Cadensa, the catalogue of the National Sound Archive, is now available on the web at http://cadensa.bl.uk
