PhD Scholarship, Dept of French

The President’s PhD Scholarship in the College of Arts, Celtic Studies & Social Sciences and the College of Business & Law 2006/2007

Applications are invited for a PhD Scholarship in the French Department, UCC to work under the Supervision of Dr Angela Ryan on a PhD research project in one of the following areas:-

• The Tragic Heroine in Comparative Literature
• Heroines of the French Resistance

This scholarship will cover the cost of the fees of the PhD student, for three years from October 2006.  

Continuation of funding beyond the first year will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory progress report from your Departmental Graduate Studies Committee.
