

Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies
Tenure-track position in French for assistant professor (level open), to begin in August 2005. Ph.D. in French or Comparative Literature, with specialization in Francophone literatures and cultures, preferably African and Caribbean, but other Francophone specialties will be considered. Demonstrable commitment to teaching, research and publication. Native or near-native fluency in French and English. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate (M.A. and Ph.D.) courses in the field of specialization, as well as more general courses in literature and culture, normally two per semester.
