Assistant Professor (French Medieval Studies), Princeton University, USA

The Department of French and Italian at Princeton University seeks to hire a tenure-track assistant professor in the field of French Medieval studies. Interest in interdisciplinary fields such as Gender Studies or Critical theory, or in the History of the French Language, would be an additional advantage. The successful candidate will have native or near-native French; clear evidence of scholarly excellence and of potential distinction in research and publication; and evidence of a deep and successful commitment to teaching.
